Work with us

Your site, live in three to five days.

No discovery workshop and no sixty-page strategy deck. Four stages, a fixed price agreed before anyone starts, and a site that is live by the end of the week.

The process

Live in three to five days

Not three to five weeks. Speed is the point: most of what makes a web project drag has nothing to do with building the site, and we have taken all of it out.

  1. 1

The call Day one, 15 minutes

Fifteen minutes is enough: what the business does, who it needs to reach, and the one thing the site has to make happen. You leave the call with a fixed price and a launch date, or an honest "we are not the right fit".

  2. 2

    Build Days two and three

Structure, copy, design and the conversion flow, built in one pass by one person. You get a live preview link on day two, not a mockup, and it updates as we go.

  3. 3

    Your review Day four

You go through the preview and send everything you want changed in one message. Turned around the same day in almost every case.

  4. 4

    Launch Day five

We run the twenty-point pre-launch audit covering speed, accessibility, meta tags, forms, spam protection and broken links. Then we point the domain, verify it live, and hand over documentation written for a non-developer.

What we need

What would slow it down

Three to five days assumes three things are true. They almost always are, but it is only fair to say them up front, because these are the only things that push a build past the week.

  • Real photographs. Pictures of your own premises, your own work and your own team. For a local business this is the strongest trust signal there is, and stock photography visibly is not.
  • Final wording for the important pages. We will write and shape it, but the facts have to come from you, and they have to be true. That means services, areas covered, hours and credentials.
  • One decision-maker. Feedback gathered from four people with different opinions takes three times as long and produces a worse site.
After launch

Hosting and maintenance, if you want it

Launching a site is the easy part. Keeping it accurate is the part most businesses quietly stop doing about four months in.

01

Hosting

We put the site on fast hosting, keep the certificate renewed and the domain pointed where it should be, and make sure it stays up. Static files on good hosting is about as close to unbreakable as a website gets.

02

Maintenance

Content changes, new pages, new photographs, updated hours and prices. Send what you want changed and it gets done, rather than sitting in a queue behind a ticket system.

03

Backups and monitoring

Regular backups you can roll back to, and an eye on whether the site is actually up and the forms are actually delivering. Finding out from a customer is too late.

04

Optional, and we mean it

The domain, the hosting account and the source code are in your name from the first day. You can move the site to anyone, at any time, without asking us and without paying to be let go. That is the difference between a service and a lock-in.

Questions

The ones we get asked every time

How long does a website take to build?

Three to five days from the first call to launch. Speed is the point of working this way: one person builds the whole site in one pass, so there is no handover between a designer, a developer and a project manager to wait on. The only thing that pushes a build past a week is waiting on photographs or final wording from your end.

Do I own the website when it is finished?

Yes. You own the domain, the hosting account and the source code. Kova builds in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, so any developer can pick the site up. There is no platform lock-in and no licence to keep paying.

Will my site show up on Google?

Every Kova site ships with unique page titles and descriptions, a sitemap, structured data, real alt text and a page weight small enough not to be penalised. That is the technical groundwork and it is the part we control. Ranking for competitive search terms also depends on reviews, local listings and time, so anyone promising a number-one position by a fixed date is guessing.

What happens if something breaks after launch?

Anything broken that Kova built is fixed at no charge. Because the sites are static files with no database and no plugins, there is very little that can break on its own.

Can you work with my existing website?

Sometimes. If it sits on a platform that is costing you speed or money, Kova will usually recommend rebuilding rather than patching, and will say so on the first call rather than selling the bigger job by default.

How much does a website from Kova cost?

Kova prices each project as a fixed number agreed on the first call, with no hourly billing. The figure depends on how many pages the site needs, whether it needs a working booking or quote flow, how ready your content is, and what it has to connect to. There are no published price lists because a number set in advance would be a guess.

Do you offer hosting and maintenance?

Yes. Kova offers hosting and ongoing maintenance as an optional arrangement after launch, covering updates, content changes, backups and keeping the site online. It is optional in the real sense: you own the domain, the hosting account and the source code either way, so you can take the site elsewhere at any time without asking us or paying to be released. Sites that stay with us simply have someone looking after them.

Where is Kova based and who does it work with?

Kova is a small studio working with small businesses and independent operators, most often local trades, clinics, restaurants and studios that need a website to book work rather than simply exist.

Ready when you are.

Book a call and you get a fixed price and a date. If we are not the right people for it, we will say so.
